Der er præcis en uge til at SWAT Denmark 2010 bliver holdt på Docken den 22. oktober. I forbindelse med eventet har vi været ude og lave interviews med de forskellige artister. Herunder kan du så læse det ekslusive interview med den hårdtspillende italianer Zatox,

1. Hi Gerardo thanks for taking the time for this interview. This is your second time in Denmark I believe, are you looking forward to coming again?

Of course! Denmark is a fantastic country - to visit, to play...

 

2. Last time you played here it was in Horsens together with Thomas Flarup, how as that?

 

It was really nice! It was a really cozy place, but everybody was really nice, and the crowd was great.

 

 

3. You have a lot of fans here in Denmark, the crowd here loves the Italian style, but makes your sound so special?

 

I think what attracts people to the Italian sound is that it is not the stereo typical Dutch sound. You'll hear a combination of different styles of kicks, but you'll also find a touch of raw, hardness that is borrowing elements from an earlier sound and updating it.

 

4. Earlier this year you started your own record lable "Italian Hardstyle" what would you like to achieve with this label?

I think like everybody who owns their label, I just want to work hard to make it a success. We've seen releases from Vamper and The R3bels, and they've been received really well. We consistently work hard as a team. I like to help out my artists, and deliver the best quality of music possible from my label but still keeping true to our sound. I think the fans will appreciate this, and I think this is the key to our success.

 

 

5. What has been your best experience as a DJ? Where was it and what was it like?

I think my best experience was in Australia. 3 years ago my career as a DJ took me there for a gig, and now again in 2 weeks I'll be playing in Australia for Defqon1! Australia is absolutely a beautiful country. The temperature is right. The Australian people are not used to huge events happening regularly, so when something like Defqon happens, they go crazy!!! It's a very intense experience.

 

 

6. Can you reveal any news on what we can expect from you on the 22 nd of October here in Copenhagen?

 

You can expect the usual from me: the best I can give for my audience. Italian Hardstyle sound, some banging new tracks, and a great energy.

 

 

7. Who is your idol?

 

Goldrake!

 

 

8. We know that you have produced a number of tracks together with other Hardstyle DJ's for example, Activator & Tatanka, are there any new plans for the uture?

 

Yes! Absolutely... I have many collaborations lined up with artists on my label, and of course many other artists in the future. We're working on a big project right now, but it's a secret.

 

 

9. Is there anything else you would like to say to your fans here in Denmark before you arrive?

 

PARTY HARD, DENMARK!!!!!!!!
