PRYME 2011 update - Daniel Kandi
Så er det fredag igen og dermed tid til at løfte sløret for endnu et navn på lineuppet til
PRYME 2011 der afholdes på Docken den 7 maj. Det er med stor glæde, vi kan præsentere, ingen mindre end,
Daniel Kandi, der skal spille på Area 2: Gorgeous.
Da vi bestemte os for, en trance scene, var vi alle klar over at Daniel skulle være en del af den, idet han har været frontfigur for trance i Danmark de senere år. De sidste to år har Daniel opdtrådt på DJ Mag's Top 100 liste, i 2009 på #87 og i 2010 rykkede han 10 pladser op til en plads som #77.
Daniel har spillet overalt på kloden til nogle af de største events. Han kan opleves igen her til foråret hvor ASOT #500 bliver hyldet med et stort event på Den Bosch i Holland den 9 april
Daniel er kendt i både Danmark for hans utal af egen produktioner samt remixes af nogle af de største trance navne på kloden. Dertil er han fast inventar på radioprogrammer som Armin van Buurens A State of Trance (ASOT) og Above & Beyonds Trance Around the World (TATW)

Over the recent years, very few danish musicians has had the same impact on the world of electronic dance music, with events such as Trance Energy, A State Of Trance 400, A State Of Trance 450, Trance Around The World 300, Global Gathering & Godskitchen. Daniel has been at the forefront of the next generation of EDM all-stars.
Hailing from the northern Denmark, Daniel has been around the world and back again. From Pacha, Buenos Aires over Ministry Of Sound, London to QBH Club, Sydney with a steadily growing number of countries in between Daniel listed as #87 on the world renowned Top 100 DJ-poll in the British DJ Magazine this guy has only just started.
Daniel is more than just a DJ; he is heavily featured on shows like A State Of Trance, and Trance Around The World. A frequent visitor to the airwaves himself with his show Always Alive getting praise for his track selection and his distinctive personality on air.
2010 has been very much about the studiowork, a whopping 4 originals tracks and 10-12 remixes, has showcased not only a great productivity, but also a capability to master everything from progres-sive to uplifting and techy trance. Proving that Daniel Kandi is far from being "just a one trick pony". Evidence in the progressive department such as the remix of "Zoo Brazil - There is Hope"; the 2010 revamp of the Cosmic Gate classic "Human Beings", or the heavily supported smash-hit "Symphonica" out on Spinnin' Recordings, proving a more mature approach to uplifting, with a unique techy twist. Because of this sudden twist, 2011 will offer alot of new challenges for Daniel which will also see him enter the world of labelmanagement with the launch of the new Always Alive Recordings imprint. With a rising demand for his unique DJ-sets and more amazing studiowork Daniel is going to continue to show off his talents in the coming year, and he invites you all to join!
