Denmark is one of my favo countries to play. I still remember my first Danish gig in 2006! Your scene is very commited and the vibe is fantastic. It's always something I'm really looking forward to!
The last gig you played here was when we hosted the SWAT Denmark Tour back in 2009, did you enjoy the event and the crowd?
Never forget that weeked! Just came back from Australia that week(jetlagged!!), after my gig on friday in Denmark I had to fly non-stop to Vancouver to play on Saturday. Btw, little detail, I missed my flight to Coperhagen that day due to a traffic jam in Holland. My agency and I managed to book a last minute flight to Copenhagen...otherwise I couldn't tell you right now how SWAT 2009 was;-) Everyone from Scantraxx was already in Denmark that night and I still had to arrive. Hahahah! After all the complex last minute stress the party made up for everything! What a night and what an energy!! Saw an aftermovie which puts a smile on my face!!
You have recently played at the B2S event Knockout, where you battled against Headhunterz, how as that?
Knock Out 2011 was one of the best gigs for me. I talked with Headhunterz last week, we both enjoyed Knock Out to the max! We made some great edits to 'diss' eachother. A lot of fun!!
In the last episode of B2S TV you challenged Headhunterz to a race, after he let Dino pee on your CD, has he taken up you up on that yet? His M3 can't be much of a match to your car?
HAHAHA!! Great diss with Dino(his dog)btw! Willem and I are both german car freaks. Since the moment we've worked on MF Point of Perfection we challenged eachother to 'race'. Willem collected some serious speeding tickets in the meantime...Question is: if he still has his drivers licence atm?!;-) I don't know who will win if we ever have time for it...to be continued.
Last summer you released Midifilez that was packed with unrealeased tracks and DJ Tools, how did your fans take to it?
A lot of people were looking for my dj tools, edits and remixes. Scantaxx and I had the idea to release the tools on a cd: M!D!FILEZ. Got really good feedback on the concept.
What are your plans for the summer, do you have a lot of gigs coming up, new releases?
At the moment I finally have time in the studio. It's something I always have to plan and search for the right focus. My schedule is filled with great gigs and festivals around the globe, (like Korea, Chilli, Hungary). At this point I'm working on many new songs. My goal is to find a mix in the current scene with more elements from other styles.
