Med godt en uge til defqon.1 løber af staben, er q-dance nu klar med den officielle liste over praktiske ting. Selve timetable vil komme onsdag, og kan som altid ses her på hardstylers.

ANTHEM
This year's anthem of Defqon.1 Festival is produced by Noisecontrollers. "Noisecontrollers - Unite" reached the #1 position at Dance-Tunes.com.

ATMs
We don’t have single ATMs, but you can use your bank card at the cash desks, machines, merchandise, market, camping store etcetera. Despite all of these possibilities, we recommend to bring enough CASH.

 

BLU-RAY/DVD/CD
Also this year, a digipack including a Blu-Ray, DVD and CD will be released of Defqon.1 Festival. The bonus-CD will contain the liveset of Wildstylez (LIVE).

 

BATHROOM / SHOWERS
Check the floorplan for the nearest bathroom. The bathroom is open 24 hrs a day. Using the shower will only cost you one token at a time. There will be no power available, which means you cannot use your hair dryer or straightener. Please keep the bathroom clean, if you make a mess of it, clean it up before you leave.

 

BREAKFAST
On Saturday and Sunday De Ruijter will serve a delicious breakfast at the Defqon.1 Camping. At a central take-out point you can get your breakfast. Make sure to get your breakfast package on time as there is a limited number of packages available. You can of course also visit our large super market for your breakfast needs.

 

BREAKING THE RULES
There will be a police station located near the campsite. If you break the rules, be aware that you can be fined instantly. There’s a report post near the Magenta and Grey areas where you can report theft, burglary from your tent, etc. This post will be opened on Saturday June 25 from 10.00 until 21.00.

 

CAMPING RULES / DO’S AND DON’TS
Not one, but three days of craziness: this Defqon.1 campsite weekender will be a unique happening! Even though it will be party time from beginning till end, there are some rules that the campsite guests should consider.

Even if you’re not a campsite guest, please read the camping rules / do’s & dont’s  and bear these rules in mind, so that Defqon.1 will be an unforgettable experience for you, your fellow partygoers and all the organizations involved.

 

CAMPING STORE
A camping store is located on the campsite. Tent pegs, ropes, batteries, flashlights and camping furniture will be sold here.

 

CD
Like previous years, also for this edition of the festival Q-dance is releasing an official cd compilation, with 4 mixed disks. 3 of the disks of the compilation have been mixed by: Zatox, Promo and Pavelow. The fourth disk is the well-known "The Sound of Defqon.1" disc. More info & tracklists of the CD can be found here.

 

CHARGING STANDS
There will be a stand available where you can recharge your phone. Keep in mind that this is at your own risk and that we will ask for a small contribution.

DEFQON.1 MERCHANDISE
A new collection of Defqon.1 merchandise has also been designed this year. Prevent disappointment and make sure you find your way to the merchandise stand early if you want to buy a Defqon.1 T-shirt, hoodie, jacket or other item. There will be an EFTPOS machine at the stand, but of course you can also pay cash.

Three merchandise stands are situated at the festival site, please check the floorplan for the locations.

 

DEFQON.1 RADIO
Just like previous years, Defqon.1 will be broadcast LIVE on Q-dance Radio . This year, broadcasting starts at about 15h00 on Friday and will continue until Sunday.

Defqon.1 LIVE will also be available in the ether on: 106.2 FM (The Netherlands only).

This FM frequency is available from around 30 kilometers from the festival site.

The live broadcast will be hosted by André (Thunderdome Radio), Fausto and Kutski.

 

EXTEND IT!
Defqon.1 Festival ends Saturday at 23h00, but that doesn’t mean the party is over yet!

On the contrary: for those who bought an Extended ticket there’s (among others) an After party from 23h30 till 04h00. The campsite closes at Sunday 12h.00, so make sure you’ve packed on time because it is important that everybody leaves the campsite at that time.

ENTRANCE
You can enter the campsite via the camping entrance only, any other (illegal) way is prohibited. Don't try climbing over the fence of the campsite: just as at Defqon.1 Festival, security guards will keep a close eye on this. There will be a few different entrances at Defqon.1. Please watch carefully which entrance you use as you will also have to exit the festival through the same entrance/exit. Every exit will have signs that say where it leads to(campsite, buses and/of parking).

Can I take a shower at the Defqon.1 Camp site? Am I allowed to bring a BBQ and can I get to the festival by train?

FIRST AID
There are two First Aid stands, one of them is located near the MAGENTA and GREY areas, the other one is located near the BLACK and ORANGE ones. Keep in mind that one stand is specifically designed for visitors of the campsite and the other one for the festival, which means it can only be used during the festival itself.

 

FOOD AND DRINKS
There will be plenty opportunities to purchase food and drink on the campsite. Barbecue packages, vegetables, fruit, biologic products, sandwiches, snacks and all possible kinds of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages: just like at Defqon.1 Festival, there will be something to everyone’s liking. Bringing your own groceries isn’t necessary, but it is allowed. You’re allowed to bring food in all sorts and sizes to the camping grounds. If you want to bring drinks there’s a limit: a maximum of 3 litres for soft drinks and drinks that contain less than 14% alcohol. Glass bottles and hard liquor are prohibited. This will be checked at the entrance.

ID MANDATORY & AGE
As usual there will be strict age and identity checks at the entrance. The police announced to check everyone's age! Make sure you bring your ID (drivers license, ID-only, OV, passport) so your entrance won't be refused. A copy of your ID is NOT valid. The minimum age for visiting Defqon.1 is 18 years.

 

LIMITED EDITION HEINEKEN BRACELET
This year Heineken designed a unique festival gadget for you. With every purchase of six Heinekens you’ll receive a limited edition Heineken bracelet.

 

LOCKERS
There will be lockers available at the campsite as well as the festival ground. You can rent a locker for three days, which will cost €12 (instead of €18) + a deposit of €5. A locker only for Saturday will cost €6,- + a deposit of €5,-. For those who are renting a locker on the festival grounds: you have access to your locker during the festival (and during the weekend in case you’ve rented a locker on the campsite), but please check at which entrance you hire your locker.

 

LOST AND FOUND
Lost items will be brought to the info stands. After the festival, all the lost and founds will be collected and brought to the Q-dance office. If you notice something missing once you’ve gone home, we recommend you to send an e-mail to info@q-dance.nl. This also works the other way around: should you find something that is not yours, please drop it off at one of the info stands (one at the festival, one at the campsite and one at the campsite check-in) so we can return it to its rightful owner.

TIP: mark your personal belongings. Should you lose something, it’ll be easier to trace at ‘lost and found’.

 

MEDICATION
You are allowed to bring medication with you, but only if the packaging is closed when you enter the campsite or festival grounds. You also have to be in possession of a doctor’s prescription to bring medication with you.

 

 

PEPSI MUSIC MACHINE
The Pepsi Music Machine makes you control the music. Noisecontrollers give you the chance to remix their “Gimme Love”. In a team of six, you’ll start the musical journey, with your own hardstyle track & videoclip as an end result. Are your track and video voted as the winning track? Then you’ll get a personal masterclass of Noisecontrollers in their Studio.

PHOTOGRAPHY / VIDEO AND AUDIO RECORDING
You're allowed to bring a digital photo or video camera to Defqon.1 Festival. All types of cameras are allowed, we don’t care how big or professional they are. Please make as many pictures and clips as you want. We will have 10+ full HD cameras running to record the ending show, we advise you not to film, but enjoy the show! We will make a nice edit for you to never forget..

 

SOLD OUT
Defqon.1 Festival is sold out. We strongly advise NOT to buy tickets via the 'illegal circuit'. All tickets will be scanned and checked on its authenticity.

If you want to Extend your stay at Defqon.1 Festival, you’re still able to buy a Defqon.1 Extended (Camping) upgrade voucher at the Defqon.1 Ticket site.

 

TAKE CARE!
Take care of yourself ... and each other. A whole day of partying requires more energy than you might be aware of. Make sure you come to the event well prepared. Drink and sleep enough and keep in mind that it can get cold in the evening. Finally, our motto is "Come together, stay together", so take care of your friends and yourself.

 

TENT
Please put your tent wherever you like, but please follow instructions... Only tents are allowed at the campsite. You can’t bring a camper, caravan or tent trailer. It's also forbidden to use your car as a sleeping accommodation; cars aren't allowed at the camp site and need to be parked at the parking area, which is situated close to the camping grounds.

 

You will not get a tent when you arrive at Defqon.1 Festival. If you don't own a tent, you can purchase one at the camping store.

 

TIMETABLE
The timetable will be published on Wednesday June 22nd, at Q-dance.com.

You will also be given a paper timetable & floorplan at the entrance of Defqon.1 Festival.

 

TRADE IN AND AROUND THE FESTIVAL
It is strictly forbidden to trade in and around the festival. If you want to buy something, there are merchandise stands available all over the festival ground.

 

TRASH BAG BINGO
Do you like to be a winner? With Trash bag Bingo, we are giving you the opportunity to become one, by handing in your trash bags! We are giving away merchandise, CD packages, and last but not least: two Defqon.1 ORANGE Cards. An ORANGE Card gives you free access to all Q-dance events for a year and you can bring one person with you every time! When you hand in your full trash bag at one of the two Trash points at the campsite, we will give you a unique code which you can fill out at www.q-dance.com, after Defqon.1 Festival. We will draw the winners out of all the entries and announce them on the Q-dance website. Of course you’ll have a better shot at winning if you hand in more filled trash bags!
